Pleased with how the acacia control cover contrasts against the limba body here. A few coats of Tru-Oil bring out the depth and grain. The positioning is deliberately slightly offset against the body grain but next time I might push this further to

I usually like to go for a natural wood finish on the back but opted for a solid colour this time as it nicely highlights the curves for this shape. I didn’t use a grain filler as still wanted to see the grain of the mahogany showing through 🎸
